Our 30mm Shadow Box Cutter Set STL is designed for use with polymer clay. This cutter file includes 2 cutter files (one 30mm Circle Cutter and one Circle Cutter that is slightly smaller in size). 

These cutters have deeper blades than normal and are designed specifically for the Shadow Box Technique, however can also be used as standalone circle cutters. You can use the Shadow Box Technique to create diorama-style pieces, bookshelves, bezel studs, charms and more! You can watch our full YouTube tutorial on the technique here.

IMPORTANT! This download includes instructions and a guide to printing sharper cutters using a "thin walls" 3D printer slicer feature. A link to the free PDF guide is included with your download. Please read before 3D printing.

These cutters are perfect for 3D printing on your own home 3D printer or maker space/library, and using to create your own earrings and other handmade products.

  • Ideal for: polymer clay

  • Size: Finished make is approximately 30mm in diameter

  • Format: digital STL file - ready to download and print on your own 3D printer (also includes instructions in .txt file, and link to free PDF instructions on using the "thin walls" setting in your slicer.

  • Designed for printing with a 0.4 mm nozzle

  • Recommended slicing settings: 0.15 – 0.20 mm layer height

  • Tested using PLA filament on Bambu P1S for quality assurance

  • We do not recommend resizing this STL as it will affect the blade thickness.

Please note: as all printer set-ups and slicers are different, we are unable to provide individual technical support for 3D printer setup, troubleshooting, or slicing software.
