Stamp 1: Make a 3D Bow
Prep your clay, cut your pieces and fold! They may look complicated but with the right tools you can easily make 3D bows.
Stamp 2: Embed an Earring Stud Post
Now that you have making 3D bows under your belt, try embedding a stud post before closing off your bow - the clay bakes to secure your post snuggly within.
Our Top Tips for success!
- It is easier to clean up your edges on your clay before folding your bow together
- Your bow tails will be the back of your clay, so if you want to put a pattern on your bow you will need to cut the tails off and flip them to be front facing
- Make sure when you embed posts you are using small stud backs (such as 4mm backs) and have your clay pieces touching so they bond during baking around the posts
